Reclaiming Wonders
The image contains two separate scenes. The left scene depicts a crevice or hollow in a tree trunk or log, revealing several plump, striped snail shells clustered together against the wood's dark brown and gray textured surface. The right scene shows a young boy with short blond hair wearing a red t-shirt and holding a large mussel shell in his hands. The boy has a concentrated expression as he examines the shell. Behind him, a residential neighborhood with houses and a street can be seen, suggesting an outdoor setting.

Homeschooling Nature Discoveries

You know you are homeschoolers when you forget the fun you were having for some accidental learning. Leaving a building becomes a snail investigation and beach day involves mussels on drift wood. Learning is all around us... Its a shame it took me this many years to pay attention to the details of creation that surround us all the time. And so grateful my kids are learning it early! Cooper might have pointed to a plastered was and ask if it was sandstone... Sounds like he was listening in class yesterday :)
