Reclaiming Wonders
The image shows several baked chocolate chip cookies on a baking sheet, along with scattered crumbs and a handwritten note. The cookies appear to be freshly baked, with a golden-brown color and visible chocolate chips. Some of the cookies have cracks or imperfections, suggesting a homemade quality. The handwritten note on a piece of paper reads: 'no grease, no egg, no mess on my clean stove!!', implying a humorous remark or reminder about keeping the stove clean while baking. The background surface appears to be a stove or kitchen counter.

Homeschooling Mom's Cookie Dilemma

“Teach them to bake” they say. What they didn’t say was “But Mom will have to learn self control”. One of these worked. Guess which one? ;) . . So while the rest of you do your diets for New Year, just know that homeschool moms of big kids have way too easy access to cookie dough. ;) I told her that no, we don’t make dough for the freezer for just-in-case I need a cookie. Sweet. But no. Gonna have to start putting the cap on her chocolate chip grocery allowance. . . At least, when it’s her week for dishes, M thoroughly cleans the stove and threatens afterward. Good luck with that since have five people using the stove! Ain’t got time for that. ;)
