It’s such a fine line between encouraging her participation vs understanding the need for quiet when the littles are entertaining each other on the playground. I was doing the same — just closer to the action ;)

I’m pretty sure I’m looking at two kids who introvert and two who extrovert. The littles are kind of up in the air. An upside of Corona: analyzing how much people interaction we really need and who they most want it with. We’ve also been working on awareness of how thankful we should be for siblings to play with during Quarantine! At least they’re there when wanted. .

Being a full time stay at home homeschool mom has given me more time to work on my introverted self than ever before. And it’s so hard to “allow” down time in our world of busyness - almost like I should feel guilty because other people say they “don’t have time for ———“. I make time. I don’t do well with chaos and noise. .
.
And when I have no choice but to be on duty at all times, Bluetooth headphones to the rescue. A requirement. I can hide in an audiobook while mom-ing. Crazy day at the zoo? It’s going to go downhill if I forget my headphones for the ride home!
