Reclaiming Wonders
An image of a wooden surface with various natural objects arranged in lines and clusters. There are white plastic straws of different lengths, along with an assortment of shells and rocks. Some of the shells are spiraled and beige-colored, while others are round and grey. The rocks are of varying sizes and hues, including grey, beige, and brown. A small glass jar filled with what appears to be water or sand can be seen in the background. The overall arrangement suggests a game or activity involving the use of these natural elements, perhaps related to a classroom or educational setting.

Homeschool Community Learning Fun

The last three days we have spent with #classicalconversations at Practicum where I do some Mommy classes and yearly redo my training to teach the 4th-6th grade writing, grammar, and math. And where my kids each go to class for learning fun as taught by some other CC moms and big kids. Who would have thought kids would report daily excitement over papers they write and math games they play and maps they draw? But it’s just part of our lifestyle, and they haven’t ever thought to question it. Anything as long as you get a break from your own mom! Coop has been giving me a daily run down of all the new games, and today he taught me Linja from Japan utilizing some fancy straws, shells, and rocks. We love our homeschool community and the support we get from new friends and strangers.... just because we are going through this adventure together. It’s a special group. Grown up time is a bonus for this mom.
