Growing Mushrooms at Home

Doesn't everyone have oyster mushrooms growing on their windowsill? The kids excitedly give me an update on our mushroom kit. "Did you see how big they got?!" And not even just Katie the mushroom hunter. They all got in on the growing... granted, using a spray bottle to water is a big incentive ;). They didn't even complain when I chopped them up and put it in their fried rice.
