Reclaiming Wonders
A traditional horse-drawn buggy carrying a member of the Mennonite community is traveling down a quiet country road. The road is surrounded by lush green trees and rolling hills, creating a picturesque rural landscape. A small wooden sign by the side of the road reads 'Study House District', indicating that this area is likely home to a Mennonite settlement or community. The image captures the simple and traditional lifestyle of the Mennonite people, who eschew modern technologies and live in harmony with nature.

Glimpse of Mennonite Life

We might have driven through Mennonite land this morning to see them... Felt slightly voyeuristic. We weaved at this fellow when he pulled over for us to pass him. Seems this community moved here when land was too expensive in Pennsylvania. And they made a good decision with these trees and hills and quiet countryside. So our analysis... They are people. Normal looking homes without wires, some with cars and satellites which I guess they run off their generators and propane. Interesting. Horse poop in the road and the occasionally buggy with people wearing "funny" hats, beards, and bonnets. Here's to their simple life. More power to ya.
