Reclaiming Wonders
A young boy wearing a green t-shirt and blue shorts stands alone on a grassy field, surrounded by bare, fog-shrouded trees in the distance. The scene has a somber, muted atmosphere, with the fog obscuring much of the background details and lending a sense of isolation and introspection. The boy's small figure is dwarfed by the expanse of the open field, adding to the contemplative, pensive mood of the image.

Finding Quiet Amid the Noise

Listen. But to do that, you can’t have other noise. . I’ve been trying to be intentional with my quiet. I don’t get much quiet with these kids during the day, but when I have the opportunity, I’ve been trying to not fill it with podcasts or audiobooks - haven’t even been putting on my Bluetooth headset. . You need time to process. Time to be grateful. Time to think. Time to thank. Time to hear the wind and birds you usually drown out with voices. . Don’t get me wrong, audio is my favorite way to learn or catch up on the news. All well and good. But, just cause it’s a “good use of time,” does that mean it’s the best use? . . I challenge you during this crazy season to find some peace. Don’t just preach it or wish for it, be intentional and turn down the noise - literally. . This highly sensitive- easily overly stimulated mom needs it! How do you find your quiet? Help a girl out. . . #30gratefulmoments Day 23. Listen. @wilkinsonnest
