Finding Myself: From Physician Assistant to Adventure Seeker
(Re)Intro time! š Iām Bobbie.
If youāre new here, welcome and thanks for being here.
If youāre not new, thanks for putting up with me. š
In this space, youāll find:
šāNot-at-homeā school
āļøRoad trips and travel
š„¾Nature adventures
š¤Rambling thoughts
š¤·āāļøAll with a bit of snark.
Iāve had a bit of an identity crisis since putting-a-hold on my career to stay home.
šHonestly, Iām still trying to figure me out, not defining myself by my āJobā.
I used to say:
Iām a physician assistant.
But I was also a Christian mom and wife and daughter and friendā¦ but I didnāt have much time to do all that. Those first years of motherhood are a blur.
I was too busy. āļøš¢
šSo Iām working on defining me as who I amā¦ not what I do.
Itās a hard transition for sure.
This 2023 has been a year of firsts and lots of growth. And I need to celebrate them! š„³
šBackpacking with ladies in the mountains.
š„¾Taking our teen boys backing packing with @jessica
šøWorking with tourism boards in Georgia, Arkansas, and Texas - including my hometown of @wichitafalls
šļøCollaborating with companies I know youāll love!
š¶Kayaking trips with kids and friends
š©ŗFinding a volunteer clinic in town where I can love helping people without the stress of work
All that in addition to the homeschool-teaching, Awana-helping, book-club-attending, travel-planning, mission-trippingā¦ on and on.
ā¤ļøThanks for being here.
PS: Iād love for you to stick around.
{Make sure youāre following me @reclaimingwonders. }
