Family Walk Around Downtown St. Louis

Walkable cities are my favorite - so off we went around St. Louis. The kids were troopers as we covered lots of sweaty blocks. Ice cream cookies were a much deserved end treat! . . We made a big lap after the Arch. Whew. The library was a goal for these little readers. Such a beautiful building! City Garden brought lots of “interesting statues” to explore. The sign said to run and explore - so up on the statues they went! . . St. Louis has lots of downtown green spaces and fountains and playgrounds. Beautiful old buildings which made me want to know more about arcitecture! So many life lessons to be learned walking around busy city downtowns - including all four kids who said they have no interest in big city life as grown ups. 😃
