Reclaiming Wonders
The image depicts a group of five individuals, likely a family, posing together in front of the iconic United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C. The Capitol's majestic white dome and neoclassical architecture dominate the background, framed by the vibrant spring blossoms of cherry trees lining the path. The family members are dressed casually, with some wearing jackets and others in T-shirts, indicating a pleasant weather day. They are standing on a stone pathway, with the well-manicured lawns and trees of the Capitol grounds surrounding them. The smiling faces and close embrace of the group suggest a joyful family outing or vacation in the nation's capital.

Family Vacation in Washington, D.C.

Be thankful. Be gracious. Be rested. ❤️ When we moved to Georgia four years ago, we had to start our own Thanksgiving tradition. Without local family for a gathering, we began having family vacations end of November. One year was a cabin in the Smokies. Last year was the Ark and Creation Museum. One year I even cooked a turkey for the first time ever. 😀 This year, we took our group on a road trip to Thanksgiving to Washington, DC for some family time exploring monuments and museums… with maybe a bit of learning. Did I mention all our hotels are free because of hotel points with my new travel hacking plan? Score!! I hope you and yours had a special day reflecting on how blessed you truly are. Blessings beyond measure. ❤️Bobbie
