Family Quality Time at the Water Park

“This is why we homeschool.”Dad reminded the kids (again!) that most kids are currently in school and not in Florida at water parks. They just don’t seem to fully comprehend their freedom sometimes 😊 . . It’s like they just don’t get it. And of all the reasons to homeschool, this is one of our big ones. You just can’t go to Texas for most of December or the UK for three weeks in April or Florida in May. I’m so glad that Dad understands this too - and that he loves our lifestyle as much as I do! . . Today was a shorter day back at Aquatica - and not in the plan. Last night, my travel agent friend pointed out that I had messed up my reserved day at Discovery Cove and gotten my days wrong $$$$!! Many panicked hours later, we got it all worked out and rescheduled —- Argh!! So the kids voted to go back to the water park. Far from a perfect travel plan. . . But we loved being familiar with the park and knowing what to expect. The bigger kids even went off together on their own a few times! Growth moments all around. 🙂
