Reclaiming Wonders
The image depicts a scenic, rocky landscape with a small stream running through it. Towering cliffs of layered sedimentary rock formations rise up on both sides, creating a narrow gorge or canyon. The rock faces are stained with shades of orange, red, and brown, giving them a striking and colorful appearance. Lush greenery, including small trees and bushes, clings to the crevices and edges of the cliffs, providing a contrast to the rugged terrain. In the foreground, a person dressed in blue clothing stands next to the stream, appearing small in comparison to the massive rock formations, emphasizing the grandeur of the natural setting. The image exudes a sense of adventure and exploration, inviting the viewer to imagine hiking through this stunning geological wonder.

Family Outdoor Adventures

How do we hit the trail? Any and every way ;) Spontaneous or well planned. Lugging a full backpack or carrying only the keys. With Daddy or without. Dry or sopping wet. Short or whining-ly long. . . Granted, the spontaneous wet ones tend to get the most “fun Mom” awards —- and we all need more of those. . . During the summer, the kids were excited about Map It Monday which meant let’s go geocaching somewhere. Now when CC starts on Mondays, I will need a different alliterative title. Frolic Friday? Wandering Wednesday? It’s a work in progress. . . Here’s to finding adventure somewhere soon. And to cooler weather to make it happen! . . Pic from Nov 2019. #buildingournest prompt.
