Family Nature Adventure

Free afternoon at Armand Bayou while Daddy recovered from a cold. We walked about three miles along the nature trail seeing wild turtles, a snake, hawk, woodpecker, deer... More of the above in tanks up close. Talked with a lady about bats, learned how a spinning wheel works, got up close with bison, and lots of hiking and nature walking. I love that my "unsocialized" homeschoolers can walk up to adults and have real conversations showing their true interest in what they are being told. Proud moment. Cooper declared it a super fun day so that's all that matters.
