Exploring the World Beyond Textbooks: Enriching Geography for Kids
Geography is so much more than those boring textbooks! I am so tempted and always skim through them… Then I remember how much more I love what we already have.
.
.
Between all the travel and reading all the beautiful books, I must admit - geography is one thing I do pretty well 🤓
.
With our Classical Conversations base, we always have maps out we are coloring or referencing. We might have a wall map in most rooms of our house. So all homeschoolers or are we just really weird?!
.
.
These are some great non-textbooks I love to use with the kids and show them the world. Real people. Real places. Real stories. So much better than dry facts.
.
I’m my stories I have them all opened to show you inside if you want more info. They’ll all last you years. I see these as always-on-the-shelves books. There’s no outgrowing them.
