Exploring Modern Sculpture Garden

“Mom, you know we don’t like modern art stuff” - I told her it wasn’t modern art but sculpture. I think I was wrong 😃 . . The Nasher Sculpture center has a beautiful outdoor garden and lots of modern art. They didn’t want to even look so I challenged them to appreciate the skill involved even if they didn’t like the random pile of bricks or plastic squares. Couldn’t convince myself! . . Big Picasso in the garden, little tiny Picasso inside, Matisse hanging on the wall… I reminded them of Miro and Andy Warhol. We appreciated the artists we know and moved on. . . At least we can say we tried 😃 Free reciprocity so it didn’t cost me anything!
