Environmental Protest at Westminster

As we walked toward Westminster, I was a little concerned at the crowd gathering in the square.. especially when we passed ten policemen walking over. Leaving, there was a full out protest happening complete with speakers and people wearing flags.. but calmly and peacefully protesting lack of environmental concern. Given the recent Brexit uproar, we were very glad to see this is all it was! The kids had lots of questions. Good extra experience I didn’t plan ;) I might have thrown in a little reference to our Bill of Rights and freedom of speech and a little impact of the March on Washington... #homeschoolmom never turns it off. #homeschoollifestyle And ironically, the UK has recycling stations up everywhere even to the point of recycling McDonalds cups. I know that isn’t all... But they’re doing a lot more than most places. Additional note. Greg notes that the air quality index for London was at like 98 or so and our house in Georgia was at a 3. So, yes, maybe there is cause for concern. And it makes me grateful not to live in this mess. Green anytime!
