Easter Sunday Outdoors with Kids

To make this Easter Sunday different, we attended sunrise service at 7 and worshipped in the 37 degrees. We all had on layers and blankets as we sat on our camping chairs - not any cute dresses or family pictures to be had ;) . . It sounds fuddy duddy - but we had no Easter egg hunt, got no baskets, no fancy Easter dresses... My kids have never had a picture taken with the Easter bunny. And that’s okay! . . But the kids declared the weekend event of making cascarones a new tradition. And I’m okay with that. . . Jesus and smashing eggs on each other.
