Don't Drive in DC - Take the Metro

Don’t even try. Driving in DC can’t kill you if you don’t do it. 🤯😉😀 On our way to the hotel, I suggested we just take a quick little circle around the Mall to show it to the kids at night… Don’t do this. 🫠 An eternity later, after parental “discussions” and tempers and driving in circles and yelling at Maps, the six of us piled out at the valet parking and swore to not get in the car again until leaving DC. Don’t drive here… ✋The phone maps are wrong! ✋People park in the driving lanes, and you have to change lanes at the last minute. ✋There are five billion people. ✋Your car and life are at risk. 🤩And most importantly, the subway works magically. So why even risk life and limb?! My family conquered the subway, walked our legs off, and renewed these life and travel skills. (We did vote that UK trains are our preferred transportation though 😂) Why not sit on that nasty ground and play a finger smacking game?! Yuck. Good thing there are all kinds of characters on the subway already, right? 😂 👉What’s your favorite walking city to explore? Bonus if I don’t have to drive once we arrive!
