Community Support After Natural Disaster

So let me tell you about community. When your good friend is finally able to have dry roads for people to be able to drive in- that was the first picture. Two days later it is cleaned, gutted to the studs... the garage and the house. Still work to do but impressive. Y'all don't know how many of my patients have no one. Such little social support. And to have 20 people show up and work their hearts out is amazing. And I loved looking around and seeing our homeschool community sending over themselves, husbands, kids-- all working together. Made me proud me be part of this group. I love my tribe and y'all have been such a blessing for Marlei and family! And for my church members to go over and help out. Y'all are awesome. People are awesome. Let us never forget the lessons of this last week. Hard. Long. Emotional. But awesome. Still so much more to go.
