Community Band's Rustic Open-Air Concert

An open air concert in a fabulous place? Absolutely. Bernstein’s West Side Story. John Williams. A little blues. Xylophone solo and marches. I love going to support our community band. And try again to push the husband (and me?) to pull out those trumpets. . Check out this old gymnasium for a venue. I loved getting to wander in it. Seems when it burned a decade ago, the town couldn’t afford to rebuild… so they just made the most of the structure that was left. And I think it’s fabulous - birds singing along with the instruments! . Free music appreciation and outdoor family time. Don’t overlook the small and available while waiting for the bestest and fanciest. You’re missing out on so much. . Always a band nerd. John Williams is my favorite 🤓
