Classical Conversations Practicum Highlights

These last three days were spent at our annual Classical Conversations Practicum - aka summer homeschool prep and encouragement for mom while kids do some fun and learning. All kids came home talking about their new friends, teaching me Simon Says ;), and incorporating their days' projects into at-home-life. It's hard to get angry at a kid who didn't get out of the pool because they were doing science experiments with the water and reporting their findings to you ;) I was required to do the training for teaching the grammar class this year, but I was so blessed by the stories and encouragement of the other ladies as well. Homeschool families and mommas are awesome.. even if an hour away from home and you're surrounded by strangers... because we aren't strangers. There's an immediate connection. It's a community and lifestyle and we just "get" each other ;)
