Christmas Caroling at Nursing Homes
Today was spent with our tribe. We sang our rehearsed Christmas songs at three nursing/ retirement homes and our base church. We went to bless others and, as par to the course, we were blessed in return. To watch our children walk up and say hi to people and be greeted with huge welcoming smiles was all it took to be reminded why we went. It was an amazing day and full of lessons I hope we can continue... there are so many ways we could follow up with our new friends. We just have to figure out the best way. The best for me was the lady I told I hope she has a merry Christmas who replied "we just did"- our singing brought a little spark into her life. May you all go spark some people! Especially those so easily overlooked.
