Cherish Time with Little Ones

Mom wants more time… and here’s your Happy Mother’s Day reminder. 😉🌸🌺🌻 {Of note… Wanting to have more time can make you look like a stalker. 😁} When I stop and gaze longingly at kid-parent moments with their little families… I’m not staring. I’m looking inward. (Please tell me I’m not the only one!) 🧺Your picnics. 👩‍🍼Your baby-wearing. 🛝Your playground fun. 📚Your library storytimes. 🐼Your stroller-in-the-zoo days. It’s just me. 👋 A mom whose babies grew up too quickly… who is loving big kid life… but at the same time, wishes she had soaked up the moments and appreciated them more when she had them. Moms of littles here’s what you need to know. ❌They don’t have to read in first grade. ❌They don’t need math worksheets or handwriting lessons. ❌They don’t need a “curriculum”. ❌They don’t need extracurriculars. ✅They need free time with mom and dad to explore their world and read books and just be kids. Save your money and your stress. One day - not too far away - they’ll have to do all the above. And even then you’ll look for ways to reclaim childhood.
