Appreciating Homeschool Moments in Autumn
Thankful.
.
.
For beautiful fall weather.
For a moment of peace where the bigs did homework together outside.
For big boxes that make for creative reading nooks.
For the freedom to be able to count Awana as reading and writing.
For our CC homeschool world view that includes drawing South America for learning.
For a big porch that is used frequently as a room.
For a forest backyard that encourages digging for artifacts and acting like archeologists.
For math using games.
For chocolate.
For a fifth grader who willingly writes his Jefferson paper this year... For now.
For sister who proudly announces she finished her book and goes to get the next one.
For audiobooks.
For being able to stay home while Hubby slaves away ;)
For brothers and sisters who want to have a Nerd fun battle.
And, yes, even for Minecraft.
.
.
This lovely weather sure makes it hard for me to “do school”.
