An Unschooling Day in the Park

Yesterday in detail for this classical conversations eclectic Charlotte Mason unschooling life ;) ... So after bad day previously, we headed out for a park adventure between piano and choir and library run. Built in checkers board for some rock vs mulch competition for a little boy needing some Mom attention. We sat and watched the Canadian geese who obviously knew we didn’t have any food for them ;) their grooming, swimming patterns, nesting locations, feather exploration with water repellant action... With cooler weather, I tend to go exploring. If we do all our #classicalconversations memory work in the car on the way to #naturestudy with some classical music, science podcasts, and physical education of balancing and monkey bars... gaming, strategizing, cooperation, creative thinking as they build houses out of gathered nature materials... computer lab at the library. Reading and audiobooks. Sounds like a busy #unschooling day! Dad I mention we did #morningtime before we were almost late to piano (aka music lessons)! We got too busy working on geography that we lost track of time. 1.5 hours at the table was a record... I hated to stop. And our Bible work, Awana verses, poetry memorization, new hymn to learn... This is how we roll! It was a good busy day... if only they were all like this... now to go break up tonight’s squabbles. Keepin it real.
