Reclaiming Wonders
An outdoor adventure playground structure with a series of interconnected ropes, hammocks, and platforms made of metal tubing and wood. The structure is situated in a wooded area, with trees in vibrant autumn colors visible in the background, creating a scenic and picturesque setting. Two children, one wearing a red shirt and the other a striped shirt, are playing on the structure. The child in red is lounging on a rope hammock, while the child in the striped shirt is sitting on a wooden platform, both appearing to be thoroughly enjoying the playground. The structure offers a unique and engaging play experience, allowing children to climb, balance, and explore in a natural environment.

Adventure Playground Memories

A new favorite park at #stonemountainpark and pretty much means that I have something else to use as leverage to get them to want to go. What kind of children complain when their Mom wants to go climb a mountain? Means to me that we’ve gotten out of the nature habit and need to make it a priority... Granted, they were all in for the adventure once we got in the car, turned on some #vanderbeekers , and drove the fifty minutes. And my zoo loving kids immediately declared that they looked like the gorillas (at #houstonzoo ) and lay down on the hammock. Best climbing structure ever for chasing siblings up and down. Barefoot, of course... I’m sure the other moms thought I was crazy for allowing my kids to hurl their shoes down ;) but I’m used to it. #barefootandbalanced all the way.
