Hiking Encounter with a Bear After Wildfire

That time we took one of our dogs on an evening hike & walked up on a bear 🐻 We rarely take our dogs hiking because one has arthritis and the other gets insanely anxious in the car. But we took the latter with us on Sunday bc it was a short drive and OF COURSE we walk up on a bear for the first time ever. Also I don’t know if all the downed+burned trees are from the Cameron Peak fire or controlled burn but it is looking pretty apocalyptic in the canyon!
