High Alpine Tundra Hike in Fall

Feeling fall fomo?! The yellow Aspens came and went SO fast this year on the front range and I-70 corridor If you're feeling fomo or disappointment in not seeing epic Aspens this year, you're not alone But don't sleep on the high alpine tundra! You'll find sweeping fields of yellows, reds and oranges, and if you're lucky you may even spot Moose by an alpine lake! It's their mating season through mid-October so they're way more active this time of year (we saw five at this lake but we kept a good distance and I don't have a zoom lens *yet*- DM me for a few high alpine hiking recommendations :) Photos 1+3 taken by @dashaslens 🍂 . . .
