Embracing Self-Acceptance Over Constant Self-Improvement

Hot take incoming >>> Have you ever had a total mental shift around something? For example 😬 lately I’ve felt like the concept of self improvement is complete crap. What about self acceptance or acceptance in general? What about focusing on the mountains, the moment and others? Self improvement says: you’re not good enough yet and tbh you never will be. Acceptance says you’re ok just as you are. We’ve lost the concept of knowing what’s good for us because we’re constantly listening to podcasts, health gurus, media, followers, influencers etc that make it seem like we aren’t doing enough What about using intuition? Slowing down long enough to listen? Sitting in discomfort & not always needing to feel ā€œour bestā€ < whatever tf that means Not saying we should just give up but like.. when is it ever enough?
