Embracing Self-Acceptance Over Constant Self-Improvement

Have you ever had a total mental shift around something?
For example š¬ lately Iāve felt like the concept of self improvement is complete crap. What about self acceptance or acceptance in general? What about focusing on the mountains, the moment and others?
Self improvement says: youāre not good enough yet and tbh you never will be. Acceptance says youāre ok just as you are.
Weāve lost the concept of knowing whatās good for us because weāre constantly listening to podcasts, health gurus, media, followers, influencers etc that make it seem like we arenāt doing enough
What about using intuition? Slowing down long enough to listen? Sitting in discomfort & not always needing to feel āour bestā < whatever tf that means
Not saying we should just give up but like.. when is it ever enough? In a world full of constantly trying to improve, can we just say: No thx, Im good with just me today.
