Finding Balance in Your Routine

If you find yourself unable to follow a routine You are probably working FOR the routine, and the routine isn’t working for you So here’s what I suggest: Try out different goals/ideas at different times of the day (it may take weeks to get into a good flow and feel aligned and that’s ok!) Try a dynamic routine (some parameters but maybe every other day) Give yourself non-negotiables with time flexibility ie I will get up between 6:30 and 7, I will take a walk for at least 20 minutes before starting work Do you best to do each of those UNLESS it Really doesn’t feel right/good that day. Maybe it’s a stormy morning and you want to lay in bed and cuddle with your SO for an extra 30 minutes instead of walk or work out How lucky are you to have a SO to cuddle with in the mornings and enjoy the sound of the rain? Perspective is everything. Know what feels good to you. Do it most of the time. Adjust if it’s not working for you. No two people are the same. Some people work best with strict structure and rigidity, some work better with flexibility. The more you work WITH yourself instead of on some predetermined schedule, the happier, healthier, more energetic you’ll become. Your body & mind need to be understood, Not fixed or changed.🤍 . . .
