Fall Hiking Essentials
#ad 3 Fall Hiking Items you didn’t know you needed
Fall hiking brings much cooler morning temps than summer, so it only makes sense to adjust what we bring on hikes a bit
First, I’ll bring an insulated thermos with a hot beverage of choice. This is so clutch for those cold summits. I usually bring hot tea or a chai latte!
Second, I’ll make sure my phone case is still in good shape to withstand weather and it inevitably falling out of my pack from time to time. I love the new @otterbox styles because they’re sleeker than I imagined, and they come in all kinds of cute colors.
And lastly, layers layers layers! Just like summer - but even to a greater extent, temps can change drastically from morning to afternoon, and even from hour to hour. I recommend wearing bike shorts under pants, a tank top, wool shirt, microfleece mid-layer, puffy AND windshell!
*and you’ll definitely need a slightly bigger daypack for this!
Which one are you going to throw in your pack for fall?!
