A woman wearing a green sleeveless dress is standing on a balcony or terrace, overlooking a breathtaking scenic view of rolling hills and mountains in the distance. The sun is setting, casting a warm, golden glow over the landscape. Hanging above the terrace are decorative flags or pennants in various shades of beige and orange, adding a whimsical touch to the scene. In the foreground, a palm tree with a distinctive puff-like shape stands tall, framing the woman's silhouette against the picturesque backdrop.

Tips for Capturing Stunning Solo Travel Photos

3 things to consider when photographing solo 👇🏻 Or just in general with you travel photos ✨ 1. Look for unique backdrops. I knew the layers of hills with the structures and the flags on the same plane would make for some fun depth in these shots. And then I saw that puffy palm tree and knew where I was gonna put myself in the frame for the first shot. 2. Find that good good natural light! Sunrise and sunset are obvious optimal times but there is good shade and bad shade that can be played with at all times of day! In these shots I knew the sunrise was gonna peek around the structures and play with the layers of hills so I composed the shot anticipating that. 3. Go with the flow! Pose if you want or just keep moving orrrr combine both of those things. I couldn’t get my app to connect this morning so I took one test shot (see slide 3 🤪) and maybe five actual shots where I chose to pose looking off frame. It doesn’t haven’t to be complicated, just do what feels comfortable in that moment.
