THINGS TO DO IN ALL OF SOUTH DAKOTA! And a wind made flip your hair Friday! Things to do/places to visit based out of Rapid City (West side of the state): -Crazy Horse Monument -Mount Rushmore -Wind Cave National Park -Badlands National Park -Wall Drug (right outside of the Badlands entrance) -1880 Town -Custer State Park Wildlife Loop -Hike Black Elk Peak (The highest point in the Black Hills and east of the Rockies) -Kayak Sylvan Lake (National Treasure was filmed here!) -Needles Highway -Alpine slide/ropes course in Keystone Things to do based out of Sioux Falls (East side of the state): -Corn Palace (yes you read that right and it is exactly what it sounds like) in Mitchell -Falls Park -Ski (seasonal and not mountainous like CO but worthy enough to ski!) -Wild Water West Waterpark -Shop the downtown area and enjoy the nightlife This list goes on and on so if you have any questions feel free to ask!
