If this isn’t on your bucket list, it should be! This was a two day excursion in Guatemala hiking the Acatenango volcano and let me tell you, it humbled me real quick! Around 4500 ft of elevation gain in 5.5 miles landing you at 13,045 on the summit. The elevation gain was insane but having the support of strangers turned friends in getting to the top is what truly made the difference. People frequently ask me, aren’t you scared to travel alone or with people you hardly know? And my answer is always no.
