Changing Daily Habits to Help the Rainforests

Have you heard about the rainforest fires? - - I’ve been spending a lot of time lately thinking about ways I can change my daily life to help the planet. Bring reusable bags to the store, buy reusable produce bags, bring containers for meat to the store, walk, bike, or skateboard to as many places as possible, refuse straws and receipts, hand towels instead of paper towels, diva cups instead of tampons and a few others are the first few I think of. Are these the best things I can do to help the planet? I’m not sure, BUT it’s something and that something is better than NOTHING. The fires happening in South America are devastating and have put a fire in me to do more. To change more things about how I live and to educate myself on how to push that even further and to hopefully inspire others to do the same. - - My new friend @kaciejeanlucille over at @softnaturevibes is donating 20% of the profits she makes to the @rainforestactionnetwork to help with the fires in South America. Please, do what you can to donate through them or to any other organization fighting climate change. And please do your best to change even the smallest thing in your daily life. - - What is the next thing you are going to change to help our planet? • • • • • •
