Keeping It Real: Sharing Photo Editing Process
For once I’m on the side of the road by choice 🤪
As promised the RAW image is back this week on the last slide!
Sometimes I feel a little guilty editing out my acne because we all know the image and societal issues that have come from over editing in advertising and media in general.
So in an effort to be a transparent I just wanted to say I never edit the shape of my body in photos or use filters in my stories. I aim to keep it as real as possible with y’all there. I do edit my acne out solely because my acne is temporary and I don’t want to look back on my photos and think about a massive pimple over the epic memories I was making.
I fully realize it is not that bad in these photos but yall I have spent tiiiiiime in other photos editing my skin. Almost two years ago editing just my face could take me an hour because my skin was so bad and around that time was when I started sharing the RAW slides. I’ve never wanted to hide that I edit my skin but I’ve never known how to talk about it either, so this is me trying.
On top of wanting to keep it real with yall I also like to show the editing magic by sharing the RAWs ✨ it feels like more of a win to share them basically.
I’m not really sure what I’m trying to say other than just being transparent so thanks for being here 🫶🏻 and happy editing!
