Nikki Tomlin
A young woman with long blonde hair stands alone in a grassy field or meadow, silhouetted against a dramatic and moody sky during sunset or sunrise. The sky is filled with dark storm clouds, but a brilliant burst of golden sunlight streams through a break in the clouds, illuminating the woman's figure and the surrounding landscape. The scene has a serene and contemplative quality, with the woman appearing to be admiring the natural beauty and atmospheric conditions around her. The rolling hills and mountains in the distance, as well as the lush vegetation in the foreground, suggest a rural or scenic location.

Prioritizing Travel and Adventure

How do you afford to travel so much?? 👆🏻 The forever question I call it because I know people will never stop asking and I am ok with that but I suppose it's time to provide a little insight! If you've been here for a while you know I lost my job a little over a year ago and because it was basically impossible to find any other job 🥁🥁🥁 I applied for unemployment, and bam, I got approved. And then I saved most of what I was allotted. No seriously, a large majority of it. And before that, I saved saved saved! I have always been incredibly frugal and have a VERY specific way that I divide up ANY money that I make to cut unnecessary spending and to save for any (well almost any 🤪 ) adventure I can dream up. I now run my own business and have to pay even closer attention to any money that comes in because, no, I am not making enough to support myself YET. But this life that I live is adventurous, fun, and fulfilling because even though I don't have it all figured out and most of what I live on is savings, I prioritize what ✨ I✨ want my life to be, and I do my best to not let society tell me what I should be doing at my age and current state of my career. I decide and I prioritize. I know everyone's life is different and you may not have the savings now or you may have to keep your 9-5 to make it all work, but that's ok! It's your journey and whatever steps you have to take to get where you want to be is the important part. You just have to prioritize those steps, no matter how big or small they are. What is your next step to getting where you want to be in life?
