Push Past Fear and Judgment to Follow Your Dreams

Are you embarrassed? Embarrassed, afraid, cautious, of following your dreams because you’re worried people close to you (or strangers) are going to judge you? (Save this post as a reminder to keep pushing for your dreams!) Last week I talked to @explorerboundcouple about this fear we all had of starting to focus on this online lifestyle with the rest of our dreams intertwined, and to say we’ve both been judged is probably a bit of an understatement. BUT the bigger item to discuss here is how we feel now that we’ve moved past this embarrassment and/or fear and judgment. Fulfillment, gratitude, passion, excitement, etc because we pushed back, not with our words or negative actions against those who weren’t supporting us, but with a positive mindset. The commonality we found in our conversation was that our quality of life has changed so much since we decided following our dreams was worth the teeny bit of judgment. And we hope that one day the people who didn’t believe in us will find inspiration from us or someone else and follow their dreams no matter who or what is holding them back. So, are you holding back out of fear, embarrassment, judgment from those you know or total strangers? Let me tell you, pushing for it no matter what the adversity is only going to make your life better and allow you to help others better theirs, so take that first step today! Even if it’s just writing down your biggest dreams or speaking them out loud to yourself in the shower (I do this literally in the shower, while driving, while hiking, all the time and anywhere).
