Embracing Life's Adventures

It's been a while since I have introduced myself and we're a growing community so I figured we should get to know each other! So here is the quickest breakdown I've got: ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿผ I was born and raised in South Dakota and I have an older brother and a younger sister. Raise your hand if you know the middle child struggle! ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŽ“ I attended Chadron State College & South Dakota State University before landing at the Art Institute of Colorado in Denver, CO where I studied and graduated with a degree in Photography (videography was included in that too ๐Ÿ˜). Who else felt clueless for at least their first year of college/post high school or maybe even beyond? ๐ŸŒ† After graduating from college I moved to New York City with minimal savings, a place to live for one month, and no job or job prospects. I was there for a little over a year and worked as a studio manager, content manager, production assistant, personal assistant, freelance photographer, and waitress. To say I never slept is an understatement! ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡น Because I value my sleep I decided leaving NYC would be wise and moved to Vienna, Austria! Unfortunately, my visa was denied and I was sent home after a few short months... But I did get some European travel in! ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿ’ผ I landed back in Denver and scored a job as a marketing manager for a commercial real estate company. And this is where I realized working for someone else was not my journey and then the universe decided to push me toward my dreams and I lost my job due to the pandemic. I promptly started my own business and it's been about a year now and I haven't looked back! Now, we are all caught up on me, what about you? Give me your story!!
