Getting Back on Track
I’ve kinda fallen off the wagon of routine and self care.
I haven’t been eating super healthy (I literally just downed a bread bowl from dominos like I was in a competition of who could eat the entire thing the fastest 🤢), I’ve worked out once in the last month, been drinking wayyy more than I normally do, etc.
I’ve put a lot of things off (including this post. It was supposed to go up at 9 this morning) by doing a ton of day dreaming, letting last minute plans take over and saying yes to all of them, loads of lovin’ on my kitties, watching Netflix shows, etc.
I’m not saying any of these things are bad or that you should or shouldn’t be doing all of them, but saying that having my own routine of things makes life seem way less complicated AND that I’m a human that doesn’t have everything put together even if it appears like I do online.
Moral of the story:
1. Take care of yourself in a way that makes you happy and helps you thrive in the ways you want to
2. Take control of your life and learn when to say no to continue thriving in the way you want to
3. Filter the things you see online because no matter how put together people seem, I promise you, their life is just as messy as the next persons.
Also, how sick is this waterfall?!
