Using Presets for Photo Editing

Let’s talk presets and how to use them! Quite often people think if they purchase presets or attempt to make them that they will work on any and all photos and that’s just not the case. Presets are meant to give you a starting point for you to adjust from and create a cohesive looking feed, portfolio, client gallery, etc. All of this being said, if you don’t know how to or you don’t want to make presets, it’s important that if you’re going to purchase some that you purchase a pack from someone with a photographic style you enjoy or that is similar to yours. It makes it easier to learn to use their packs and helps you learn different ways to photograph! Long lesson short, presets are a great launching pad to making editing easier but they are not a one click and done solution! One of these photos was edited with a preset of mine and one was edited from scratch and I can’t decide which one I like more so, which is your favorite? If you’re looking to change up your style or work with some presets to make your photos more cohesive I have packs of presets available on my website! Link in bio!
