Glacier Hiking in Patagonia
Glacier hiking hits different 🧊
I skipped out on a little glacier exploration in Iceland a couple years ago and knew that the next time I had the opportunity I would say yes.
Turns out that opportunity would pop up in Patagonia at Grey Glacier. Strapping spikes to your boots, walking on ice, and hearing the crunch of every step you take while taking in shades of blue that don’t seem real truly is a must have life experience.
And the craziest part was there was a warm wind, like a blow drier set to hot, that blew over the glacier while we hiked. No one could answer why it was so warm but I’ll never forget the entire group gasping when it hit us all in the face after our first few steps onto the glacier.
