Finding Connection as an Adult
About 18,462,816 slivers is what I got from frolicking through this gate a couple times for these shots.
I know I haven’t talked about this trip much, but it’s been popping up in my head pretty frequently lately.
To take a girls trip with two powerful women I had watched crush it from afar, changed my whole perspective on what it was like to make new friends as an adult.
I asked loads of questions that were graciously answered no matter how silly. We laughed until we cackled, cried (well I did), hollered from the surprisingly cold temps in New Mexico, collectively rolled with the flow, laughed some more, screamed from the sunroof out of frustration, and found teamwork like determination to fix the sunroof after it broke.
The list goes on and with it my heart grows with more love for @currentlycolorado and @wallflowerink_ ❤️
I went on this trip with them to New Mexico before going to Hawaii and I KNOW I wouldn’t have been so open to meeting new people had they not given me hope for finding new connections as an adult.
One day I’ll edit photos with all of us in them and post them (running your own business is hard) and tell you something else magical they taught me but for now, don’t give up hope that there are still different relationships and lessons for you to find and learn from as an adult.
It’s never to late to find your people ❤️
What is the best lesson a friendship has taught you?
