Finding Friends Through Shared Passions

How do you make friends? I get this question a looooot and honestly I used to be someone who asked the same question. And then I started doing the things that I love and I found my people. I started commenting on a loooooot of posts and dm-ing people who I admired or felt like I could have a connection with (based around the things I love) like I was already best friends with them. Not in a personal or overbearing way but in a way that connected us both. Before I knew it I was driving across state lines, inviting those people into my home, flying across the country (or driving), and meeting up these people in new countries. It doesn’t have to be that extreme or it could be more, whatever works, and now I have friends I wouldn’t trade for the world and I know wouldn’t trade me for the world either. And I always have someone I can call and say “hey wanna go to xxx with me?” And they will always say yes ❤️ Do the things you love, be brave, and you and your people will find each other!
