Be the Hype Behind the Camera

If you’re behind the camera, BE HYPED! I don’t even know if ‘hype’ is still a word we use because I’m a millennial but you get my point! One of my biggest pet peeves when watching other photographers is when they don’t talk to the person in front of the camera. Like they are 💀 silent behind the camera. On a very rare occasion you have to be quiet behind the camera but for the most part the entire vibe of a shoot and confidence of the subject can change with the teeniest bit of encouragement. And if you’re constantly telling the subject what you like and encouraging them it becomes so much easier to move them into a pose. They’ll be feeling so good that the flow will just keep flowing! Plus it’s never a bad thing to tell your friends how stunning they are, even if they are new friends! Tag the hype girl of your friend group!
