Hiking Through Lush Greenery
Does photography just seem really hard to you sometimes?
(Save this post for a little inspo for when things feel tough!)
I spent almost four years studying photography intensely and some days things I think I should find easy, aren’t.
Editing these photos was HARD and I’m still not confident that I like them but told myself I’m going to post them anyway because one day I’ll look back and will see my growth.
What made this edit sesh hard?
-So. Much. Green. I took a good 50% of the saturation of greens and yellows out of these and can’t decide if there is to much still.
-Because of all the greens I had a hard time adjusting the curves and making sure the shadows and highlights are in all the right places.
-Am I enough of a subject in the first composition? Still not sure.
-Should I even be editing to post these because photos that aren’t close up of my face “don’t do well.”
The list goes on.. but I know I have to keep reminding myself that I’m not here and posting to be perfect. I’m here to show you all and myself that growth comes one day and one step at a time and no matter how much I think I know, there is always room to grow!
So I gotta ask, since I’ve been staring at them for to long, are these shots SUPER green to y’all? 🤪
