Embracing the Butterfly Effect

The uncertainty on the other side of a big decision is a lot more fun than you’d think 🦋 My life could be so different if I would have kept that ticket instead of trading it for the earlier spot in line. I could still be in Austria, speaking fluent German, had a second degree, and married. It could have also still led me to right where I am now, but I’ll never know and that’s ok. Why? Because right where I am is where I’m happy to be. Of course we all have dreams and we hope we get to live them out but how are we going to do that without a little risk? My risk that day in Austria cost me a visa but gave me a life I can build dreams on and I never had that before. Take the risk. Change spots in line.
