Embracing Social Media Authenticity

Sometimes ya just don’t wanna show your face 🫣 It’s no secret that the algorithm has been a real b*tch for everyone lately and I’m definitely not excluded from that, but I think my biggest gripe is that if my face isn’t front and center my content isn’t pushed. There’s a million reasons why this could be happening and it could not be the algorithm at all, but I feel like I’ve changed what I post because I’m trying to please the system. Long story short, I’m pretty over trying to please the gods of this app. I have been super structured in what I post and I don’t want to do that anymore. Of course I’ll still have nice work but I also just want to post whatever the heck feels good whether my face is front and center or not.
