Dating Your Dreams
From working at a desk to working in a bikini š
My chiropractor asked me if I was doing my exercises at home today and I said Iām super busy right now but Iām doing them when I can. He responded with āwhen youāre in a committed relationship do you think itās better to keep dating your partner consistently or do you think you should date them only when youāre not busy or when you have the ātimeā to keep the relationship healthy and growing?ā I said damn thatās a great way to look at it.
I left that appointment and sat in my car thinking about how what he said can be applied to literally anything in life. How can I expect my back to feel better if I donāt date my back? How can I expect my business to grow if I donāt date my business? How can I expect my dreams to become a reality if I donāt date my dreams?
Maybe this is a silly reference but it made sense to me in so many ways. Iāve come a long way in living my dreams but just like in a relationship, it takes work to maintain it. So start dating your dreams. Figure out what needs to work to make them happen and accept that youāll be dating them for the rest of your life āØ
Also, letās be real, I still work at a desk because editing takes up the most time š
Would you rather work in a swimsuit or on skis?
