Dating Your Dreams

From working at a desk to working in a bikini šŸ‘™ My chiropractor asked me if I was doing my exercises at home today and I said Iā€™m super busy right now but Iā€™m doing them when I can. He responded with ā€œwhen youā€™re in a committed relationship do you think itā€™s better to keep dating your partner consistently or do you think you should date them only when youā€™re not busy or when you have the ā€˜timeā€™ to keep the relationship healthy and growing?ā€ I said damn thatā€™s a great way to look at it. I left that appointment and sat in my car thinking about how what he said can be applied to literally anything in life. How can I expect my back to feel better if I donā€™t date my back? How can I expect my business to grow if I donā€™t date my business? How can I expect my dreams to become a reality if I donā€™t date my dreams? Maybe this is a silly reference but it made sense to me in so many ways. Iā€™ve come a long way in living my dreams but just like in a relationship, it takes work to maintain it. So start dating your dreams. Figure out what needs to work to make them happen and accept that youā€™ll be dating them for the rest of your life āœØ Also, letā€™s be real, I still work at a desk because editing takes up the most time šŸ˜… Would you rather work in a swimsuit or on skis?
