The True Cost of Material Possessions
The price for anything is the amount of life you exchange for it. I was doing some math the other day and realized that if you are at a minimum wage job then you are making 17 cents per minute. Essentially one minute of your life is worth 17 cents.
Using the same logic if you want to buy a $300 tv, it doesn’t sound like a ton, but when you break it down, that TV is worth 30 hours of your life.
I totally understand that some people have to do what it takes to survive and I totally applaud that, but at the same time, I think it’s always best to move towards passive income sources.
